Any undamaged or defective item purchased from Seller though this website may be returned within 30 business days (as determined by our shipping records) after you receive the item. All returns, except for any item verified by Seller to be defective, are subject to a restocking fee of 20 percent (20%). In order to be eligible for a return, you must obtain an RMA number within this 30 business day period by calling Ushio America Customer Service number at 1-800-838-7446 during normal business hours. You must include the RMA number along with the item and ship it back to Seller’s Cypress, CA facility. You must ship the item in its original packaging in good condition. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping, and we strongly recommend that you purchase insurance for at least the cost of the item because we will not issue a refund or credit for items lost or damaged during return transit. Title and risk of loss to the item remains with you until the item has safely arrived at our Cypress, CA facility. 

Issuance of Refund
Provided that the undamaged or defective return for which an RMA number was issued is safely received by Seller no later than 60 days from the issue date of the RMA, we will issue a refund for your purchase price and any applicable tax. Shipping costs such as ground, expedited, “rush,” air, or any other special freight charges are not refundable. No refund will be issued for items not received in good condition, even if defective. Refunds will only be issued as a credit to the credit card account you used to purchase the returned item, and in no event will the amount exceed the total amount originally paid. Credit refunds are typically processed within 7 to 10 business days. In the event a refund cannot be issued to the original card used for purchase due to lost card, etc., an attempt on our part has to be made at least once before a company refund check will be sent to you. The company check process may require an additional 3-5 business days to process.

Items Damaged in Shipment; Exceptional Circumstances
For any item that was damaged when originally received by you, please contact Seller within 2 weeks of receipt of the item and keep the original box and all packaging materials for a reasonable time for possible inspection by the carrier and/or return to Seller. If replacement is required on product that can only be shipped in case quantities (i.e., fluorescent tubes), then a new order for a full case must be placed and charged, and Seller will process a refund for the portion of the original shipment that is determined by Seller to have been damaged. In some instances, Seller may issue a refund in its sole and absolute discretion without requiring a return of the damaged item.

Shipping or Website Errors

If you receive product due to our shipping error or incorrect website information, replacements will be shipped at no additional charge to you, and a prepaid return shipping label will be provided for the original shipment.
